Dallam Sixth Form students success in Dream Placement 2026 programme
Our Sixth Form is celebrating outstanding success as 15 of our Sixth Form applicants have been shortlisted for the prestigious Dream Placement 2026 programme, in what organisers have confirmed is their highest number of applications ever – over 300 in total.
Dream Placement is a highly competitive scheme connecting young people with leading employers across Cumbria. Applications were anonymised and scored by independent judges before the top candidates were selected for the next stage. We are incredibly proud that the following Dallam students have been shortlisted:

These students have now been invited to the Dream Placement Selection Event on Tuesday 9 December at Energus, where they will take part in interviews and development activities with host companies. This is a remarkable opportunity for students to gain industry insight, grow their confidence, and take the next step towards exciting futures in engineering, business, digital technology, science, and more.
This achievement reflects the ambition, talent, and commitment of our Sixth Formers – and the strong support they receive at Dallam. It also highlights the breadth of opportunities available to students who choose to continue their journey with us.
